I have watched the video for the Swisco 39-140 Dual Arm Crank Operator. I am looking to compare the 39-083, 39-140 and 39-143 to what I need. However, I don't understand what the description means regarding length. Using the picture online for each of these parts, are you defining the length as the measurement from one side of the pictured item to the other side (when the arm is in the closed position) as it is in the picture? Or are you referring to how long the arms can extend out when completely opened before installation.

Hi there, thanks for reaching out. The length of the arms is measured in the closed position. By clicking on to the second thumbnail photo for each product, you'll see how it is measured from side to side. Hope this helps.
