awning windows salt

Question

Hi Paul...I live in Hawaii..have about 24 awning windows installed 2001...from lack of use and salt conditions..the cranks do not open and I have broken many of your slide
connectors...39-536.....by relaxing broken clips 39-536 can I make it work...what spay lubricant would you use to loosen and then lubricate.......this appears tomb only part that breaks..is there other parts that typically fail for this fix?

If the 39-536 pivot slide is getting hung up in the track, you could use a type of silicone spray or even a wax stick like the 75-077. The 39-536 slide pivots are held onto the operator arm with the 39-558 detach clip. They should not be that difficult to replace.
