I have a bottom sash with both tabs broken off that would normally engage the balance assembly. I believe the balance assembly is still good but I can't seem to get the small broken pieces of the cast aluminum post out of the balance assembly. There seems to be small retaining tabs cast into the broken pieces preventing it from coming out. I will need 2 of the replacement posts that get inserted into the bottom of the window sash or possibly 2 balance assemblies if the parts are designed to go in as a matched set.

I believe the parts im looking for are 2 pivot bars and it might be a T pivot bar.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide

Hey there, Gordon. Simonton has changed their style pivot bar to our 26-336 that will still work in your pivot shoe. As for removing the broken pivot bar in the cam, take a slot screwdriver and turn the cam to the up position looking like a letter "U", with needle nose pliers you can now remove the broken bar up and out of the cam. Let us know if this information helped you.

Well that exactly what I needed to know to remove the broken piece stuck in the ballance assembly and the 26-336 replacement parts look like a perfect fit. I have 6 on order to repair 3 older windows.
Thanks for your help
