balance indentification UB 29C

Question

I am in need of one balance (not sure if this is the correct term for the part: image attached) with dimentions 29 inches in length, 0.5 inch in width, and 0.5 inches in depth (weighs about one pound). These are from a 25 inch wide x 70 inch long window and it looks like "U B 29C" is printed along the metal part of the balance. Not sure if that information is helpful or not. Please let me know if you have this replacement part and how to go about ordering them.

Thanks for posting, Sarah! Before we can recommend an applicable replacement for your balance, we just need to know a bit more information.

First, can you please confirm the numbers stamped into your channel? Looking at your picture, they appear to be "28 C," not "29 C." If you can, take a closer picture of the stamp so that our experts can see for sure.

Secondly, can you please confirm the width of your bottom shoe? Seeing as how it's winged, it should be either 1" or 1-3/32". Please refer to the following chart and pick out the shoe that most closely resembles your own hardware. If your shoe matches the 15-005, then you need our Series 380 balance. If your shoe matches the 15-004, then you need our Series 385 balance.
