balance issues

Question

I have Alenco double pain windows approx. 25 years old. Both balances have fallen out of one window and I need to repair, replace. Another window is stuck shut--presumably balance issues.

The balances that fell out came out of windows that are 27 high and 42 wide each for upper and lower. Balances are 26" long and have "24 4 CK Caldwell" on them.

Window that is stuck is 42 wide by 30 high on lower and 42 wide and 42 wide by 41 high on upper. Would need to know how to remove balance if I can get that window open.

Hey, thanks for posting. I've narrowed this down to two possible channel balance Series: either our Series 351 or our Series 390 balances.

Now, as you can see, there is only one difference between these two Series, and that is their bottom shoe. The Series 351 uses the 15-002 while the Series 390 uses the 15-001. I can't quite tell what you have based on your pictures, though. Please carefully compare their dimensions to your own hardware and see which is a better match.
