balances are 3/8×29 no color our double wide is 22yrs old I took window out and weighted it was 14.4lbs thanks for your help it is a tilt window

I'm afraid that I don't know what your question is. It seems like you already picked out the size of your balance as 3/8" diameter and 29" long. Can you clarify what exactly it is you need to know?

You talked about different spring tensions just wondering what color since mine does not show a color I'm going to need several tired on windows being so hard to pick up and not staying up thank you

If you look under the product description of the S900-29 store page, you can see a chart that correlates each color tip option with a specific sash weight range. Since your sash weight is 14.4 pounds, you would want to pick the Red Tip. As indicated by that chart, two balances with a Red Tip carry 10 through 22 pounds. That should be perfect for your window.
