What Channel Balance Is This?

Hey there. Trying to replace two window balances marked "2240" I want the whole system, not just the metal channel. Do you carry these? Do they just attach to the clip inside the window frame and then slide the window down onto them? Thanks! Ryan

Thanks for writing in. If by the whole system, you mean the inner mechanism of the metal channel and the nylon attachments, yes, all our channel balances come furbished out of the box. To know which channel balance you need, we need more than that stamp code, as that just refers to the strength of the spring inside the metal channel balance. Can you show us a picture of each of the nylon attachments on either end of the balance? And can you tell us the length of the metal channel not including those nylon attachments? That should tell us what you need. As far as installation details go, see the video below.
