Thanks for writing in, Len. These are hinge window balances. These balances are unique because the pair in a window are not the same: typically, only one balance has both the 19-008 Top Attachment and 15-025 Bottom Attachment, while the other balance has just the 19-008 Top Attachment and no bottom attachment. Additionally, these balances will not have the same stamp code on the metal channel.

We can replace these for you, but we need to know the stamp option of the balance with both attachments, as well as the stamp option of the balance with just the top attachment. Let us know what you find, or if this configuration differs at all with your balances. Many thanks.

Thanks for getting back to us. So the two stamps are 2130 and 2130 2140. Can you just indicate which goes on the balance with both attachments and which goes on the balances that has no shoe? Can you also tell me how many of each you need?

A contractor from North Brunswick, N.J. says:
NO! you are confused. The first balancer is stamped-- 2130F
the second balancer is stamped-- 2140F

Bob from SWISCO responded:

Sorry, that was a typo. I didn't mean to type 2130 twice in my prior response. I've fixed it for posterity.

I understand that one is 2130 and one is 2140, but I need to know which stamp has what combination of attachments.

One will have a 19-008 top and 15-025 bottom.

The other will have a 19-008 top and NO bottom.

Once you've confirmed which stamp goes with which combination, we can get started.

A contractor from North Brunswick, N.J. says:
the 2130F has the 15-025 bottom, and the 19-008 top
the 2140F has the 19-008 top and no bottom

Perfect, thanks! I'll email you an order link and price quote right now for one of each.
