I purchased a 1950 brick home a year ago that is in exhalant condition that has oak wood windows in the brick breezeway that are in very good condition except for needing re-glazed. I will be removing the windows to make re-glazing them easier and a better job. They are non-tilt and have spiral balancers and haven't been opened in years. A previous owner has put aluminum storm windows on the outside, so I can remove the trim and remove then remove the window without leveling everything open to the elements. I am a maintenance technician in a factory and my best friend is a Carpender. We are capable of doing fabrication if needed. When the weather breaks, in about a month we will remove the first window. There are six windows.
Is it best to send you a balancer rather than a picture?
There is no rush, we have all summer.

Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out to us. We'd be happy to help with this project but I'm afraid we won't be able to do so without photos. Can you remove an undamaged balance assembly and show us some photos? I may need more photos and information after that, but I have to know what to ask for first. Just something to keep in mind!
