barbed neoprene brush weatherstripping for old windows

A home owner from Cambridge, MN says:
We are refurbishing our windows in our 1914 house and will use this weatherstripping on the sides of the windows. We can't locate a source that sells this type of weatherstripping. Can you help?

That looks like a type of wool pile, though it's hard to be sure what type it is. You mention that it's barbed. Are you referring to the base? Would it be possible to see a clear picture of the end profile so that I can see exactly what shape it takes? The video below will go into more detail.

Based on the age of the window there is a good chance we won't have an exact match. I will certainly do my best to find something but I don't want to get your hopes up. Just something to keep in mind.
