bent glazing bead

Question

I am looking for some help it appears that the Glazing bead I have on the windows we are replacing is either 55-164 which as bent at a 90 degree and 55-192 which is bent at a 45 degree and the 45 degree is exactly how are old one is however ours appears to be 1/16 longer on the long end and 1/16 longer on the short end which shouldn't matter. but I need the 7 foot length for one slider will the 90 degree bend in to the slider. Other than the degree bend what are the difference between the two.

Hello Dan. Even though I do agree that your glazing bead looks similar to our 55-192, I would recommend our 55-164 glazing bead as the better option. It may lock better in your frame even though the size is a little smaller. You may want to take a look at both and see which one would make the better match for you.
