I had 22 Certainteed vinyl relamcent windows installed in my home about 15 years ago. About 6 months ago one window would not open unless we applied a great deal of force. A contractor who was working on another project showed me the problem was a bent tilt window latch.
Its an angle iron with attached to the window with two screws. The bent portion is the part pretruding from the angle iron which fits into the plastic pieces in the window tract. Its made out of "pig iron". A contactor at work bent it back in place but warned me it would likely break when I installed it into the window. Any thoughts on where I can find a replacment? I gather Certaintedd no longer makes replacement windows
Thanks David

Could I see a few pictures of the part in question? Is there any way we could see it removed from the window, as well? Thanks!

Actually I found the piece on your website and have ordered three of them. The picture on your website looked exactly like what I was looking for and the guy who installed my windows had the part number.
CertainTeed Sash Pivot Bar 26-353
Hopefully when the part arrives I can just screw it in drop the window into the slot and raise it back up without snapping off the little "arm". Thanks
