black window piece

A purchasing agent from Acton says:
wondering if anyone is able to ID this piece from the top and bottom of a window. It may be some type of limiter. the Tech was not really sure. Any help would be great.

Tom from SWISCO responded:

The piece on the left looks like a top sash guide, but I'm not certain about the piece on the right. Starting with the top sash guide, I'd like for you to show me a picture of it from the front, if possible. For the other part, can you show me what this looks like while it's installed?

A purchasing agent from Acton says:
Thank you! I would agree it is a top sash guide and I believe the second piece screws to the guide. Unfortunately the techs did not get a pic of the piece installed on the sash but I have included some more pics. Looking to order these if they are still around.

Thanks again for waiting. Your top sash guide looks like a match for our 18-169. I'm very confident this is what you want. The other piece looks to be a shim of some kind. I believe it's supposed to add depth to the bottom balance shoe. Unfortunately, we don't have a replacement for this part. They usually don't wear down, since they're not exposed to any direct friction. Could you reuse it?

A purchasing agent from Acton says:
I think we should be able to reuse the shims. Thank you again for the help. I will be ordering those today.
