bolt that attaches to window crank handle

Crank arm works for both these windows. The handle bolt does not appear to be stripped. Not sure what the exposed component is called and where I need to replace it or push/tap it in. Just not sure how to properly do this on 23 year-old Truth windows. I can't seem to find a video or instructions that help with this.

Unfortunately, the worm gear on your operator is, indeed, stripped out. This can't be repaired, so you will need a new operator.
We can help, but I will need a clear picture of the entire operator mechanism. That includes the arms that open and close the window on the outside.

Hi Tom,
Here are some photos from internal and external side of the window. The arms and slot mechanism, work well. The Truth arms are about 11 inches long. Thank you.

Thanks! This operator looks like a potential match for our 39-348. Look it over and let me know if you agree.
