bought handle, didn't include keeper

I just bought

And it didn't come with a keeper. Can you help me with which keeper I should buy to use with this new handle?

There is no one keeper that's meant to go with the 82-086, unfortunately. Keepers are meant to be paired with a specific mortise lock, and the 82-086 is compatible without about a ton of different mortise designs.

In order to determine what keeper you have, I need either a clear photo of the original or a clear photo of the mortise. Ideally both. Please let me know if that's possible.

The problem is that we bought a new door but it didn't come with a handle, or a mortise. I ordered a handle from your company and assumed it would come with the matching mortise as well. How do I get a mortise that works with the door handle I purchased?

That's going to be a problem, then. Like I said before, there are many, many possibilities. Since your door didn't come with one I will at least need a photo of the space where the mortise is meant to install. I will also need measurements of that space; installation hole distance, overall hole size, etc. Anything you can give me at this point would be helpful.

For future reference, our products only come with those parts shown in the product photos or otherwise defined by the product description. If you don't see it, it's safe to assume it doesn't come with it.
