bracket on window

This is the bracket that screws into our window for the channel balance. It broke at the same time as our balance. What can I use? The channel balance is a 1/2" size.

Thanks for posting. This part is known as a top sash guide. I thin you should take a look at our 18-008. Carefully compare the dimensions to your own part and see how well they match.

My last post that you commented on, you said it my channels were either 380 or 385 series. However, on this top sash guide, you refer me to a part that is commonly used on the the 390 series. I did notice that the holes are mostly on. It could be my tape measure that is off a little. Will this work in the 385 series, because this is what I believe I have for the channel balance.

I did remove the part and took a picture of it out of the window, if that helps.

There isn't really a direct correlation between channel balances and top sash guides. A channel balance can be used with many different kind of top sash guides, while a top sash guide could work with many different balances. Even if that weren't the case, the differences between the Series 390 and Series 380 or Series 385 would not affect what top sash guides they could work with.
