bracket replacement

I saw this bracket as a replacement for the pictured MARSH # 8401160. How do you account for the sheet metal (with the hole) that the original bracket is designed for?

Thanks for reaching out to us. We've had customers use the 32-119 for this bracket. This part uses screws to install to the back of the cabinet so it isn't compatible with the metal plate, unfortunately. I'm afraid none of our parts "plug in" like yours. You'd have to remove the metal plate and then shim the socket out with something like a piece of wood. Note, it will be a project and you'll need to be a little handy.

Thank you for the quick response. I figured that's what I'd have to do so I looked at the problem a different way. I fixed the issue with the existing bracket. Before, the track would slip out as the bracket was worn down and couldn't hold it. I used zip ties to hold it snug. Seems to work. Might help someone else.
