broken Jeld Wen casement lock

Handy Person from Maine
Attached are photos of a broken Jeld Wen casement window locking mechanism. The plastic hinge for the locking mechanism arm was sheered by fatigue and can no longer slide the exterior locking track up and down to lock the window. The Jeld Wen company was sold and they no longer provide parts for this model of window. I am looking for an exact replacement of the arm and hinge or an approximate replacement or a "hack" to repair the mechanism or lock altogether.

Hello,

I'm not sure if we have an exact match for the lock in your photo but it reminds me of one of our Escutcheon style handles, such as the 38-205, 38-208, or 38-209. The 38-205 looks the most like your lock but you'll need to compare the specifications to see if one of these might be what you need.

Thanks Casey, that's exactly what I was looking for! Just bought two from SWISCO.

If you pull out the plastic clippy cover part and shave something underneath the pivot point of the two arms you can kinda help it go up instead of out. I used a pencil.

(these windows are garbage. I have like 8 of them and one by one they break.)
