broken casement operator

Swisco 39-172 has 5 inch outer
Any recommendations?

Hello,

Unfortunately, we do not carry a replacement operator with the same 6" long link arm shown in your photo, but we do offer the similar 39-318 with a shorter link arm. You may be able to adapt something like this to work for your repair but it would require replacing the link arm with the 6" arm from your original assembly. Take a look and see what you think.
