You need to remove the pivot shoe with the coil springs and nylon cover, all at once. There should be a cut-out along the track where the balance is meant to fit. If not, see the media guides listed on this page for help. The pivot shoe looks like our 15-228, which uses Series 160 coil springs. The spring weight numbers will be stamped at the end on the spring.
