How can I keep my handle from breaking again

my sliding door handle 82-055K broke. How can avoid this happening again? It broke after only two years.

One reason why patio door handles like this break is because the rollers and track are not in the best condition. Is your door sliding smoothly? Maybe give the track a spray of silicone to help. If that doesn't help, the patio door rollers may need to be replaced entirely.
