broken lock lever with double mortise latch

Question

The thumb latch broke on our patio door. The patio door has double mortise latch with an anti-slam button, the bolts for the handles are offset at 3-15/16 inches and the thumb lever sets an inch above the bottom bolt. The door and trim is white. Would the thumb latch replacement part 82-107 work with a double mortise latch?

Also could I install a handel with a keyed lock without having to replace the mortise latch and catch plate?

Hello! I'm actually very confident that the 82-107 can repair your handle. I've used it myself on handles just like this and I find it works perfectly well. It should also be fully compatible with your existing mortise.

If you wanted to just replace the whole thing, then my suggestion would be the 82-086.
