broken part

The photograph shows one of two top rail guides for a sliding glass closet door. The rectangular plastic guide on top of the other guide has broken off and I need a replacement guide.

The only markings on the guide are "Acme U.S. Pat. 3750337". Can you help me find a replacement door guide?

Thank you

Stanley discontinued your top guide, and then later discontinued their replacement for it. Because of this situation, we feel our 23-196 can be used as a replacement. It doesn't have a spring loaded guide wheel, but a screw adjustment wheel instead, so you might have to adjust it few times to get the doors to slide smoothly.

Will a 23-093 spring loaded roller replace the above. I, too, have two spring loaded guides identical to the one in the picture with the identical identifying number whose rectangular white nylon glides were broken off by careless contractors remodeling my bathroom. They are attached to steel framed acme mirrored bypass doors and have a galvanized upper track. Will that track work smoothly with the roller substitutes, or will I need a new track to work with the round rollers? If so, which track should I use? Thank you for your help

Unless the track is damaged, the spring loaded 23-093 top roller will work as a replacement for the hardware pictured above.
