broken part for apple by systems tilt window.

Question

Picture above shows 2 parts of the window tilt mechanism. Appelby systems had made in 1995. looks like the part striped out during operation of window. Appleby was contacted but they do not have parts this old.  thanks jw

Honestly, I can't tell exactly what this part could be. Is this piece a portion of a part that may have broken? Could we get some additional photos of the entire part? If you happen to have one that is undamaged that would work great.
