broken pivot
SO anyway, one of the pivots at the bottom is broken, do you sell this part? I assume it includes the top/bottom/spring assembly. Is there a left and right (it seems that answer is no)? See pics.
PS I bought you sill weather stripping for these windows a week ago. The profile was easy to find on your site and they fit like a glove, 12 windows, thanks much. Lawrence
Hi Lawrence, thank you for posting,
Your pivot shoe resembles the 15-180 that is compatible with the Series 190 coil springs. It also appears that you have a single coil setup with the 15-186 balance clip and most likely the 15-182 bushing(can't see in photo). There is no right and left side for these assemblies, but the parts (springs, pivot shoe, etc.) are sold separately.
You will need to review the original spring for a number stamped on the metal. If there is no number present, please provide the weight of the window sash to move forward.
Yes also, my windows are single coil. I only have two sash sizes (double pane glass)- 33"w x 29"h, and 29"w x 18"h. I see the series 190 coil is available for varying sash weights (440, 540, 640, 740, 840, 940 for 4,5,6,7,8,9 lbs, respectively). I will check for stamp, and the weight if no marking.
Thanks again, it's a pleasure to get this level of help. Most businesses use a call center in timbuktu ha.

No problem!
If there are no markings on the coils, obtain the weight of the window sash and divide by the amount of coils that support the sash. In your case you would divide by (2) to determine the weighted coil needed on each side to support the sash.
