Each window has 2 of these. The windows are the same age. One just broke, so I assume the rest may break soon too. I like to order 12 of these pieces. These help the window to go up and down and stay up. They keep the spring in place.

Take a look at our 18-009. While it lacks those side tabs, I'm not sure if they'll make a difference. Go over the dimensions and see if it otherwise matches up.

No, I'm afraid not. That number just tells us the strength of the spring inside the balance. If you're looking for new channel balances, we need to see the nylon fittings at either end of the metal channel. Those will tell us the identity.
