broken window balance

Question

Single hung window with broken balances. Window weighs about 18 lbs. balance is 28" long and approximately 1/2" by 1/2" channel. See attached picture. 2800 stamping on balance and attachment is a rectangular terminal clip. (looks like your 770 balance with the terminal clip connection)
Which replacement balance is needed?

Thank you for posting. I agree, our Series 770 looks like a close match. Check out our S770-28, where you can find all relevant pricing. You will have to weigh your sash to determine the appropriate option to use.
