bubble seal removal

I'm replacing the bubble seal on my vinyl casement windows. I can remove most of it w/o problem except for few areas where the bubble part has seperated from the flange part that secures it in the track. I'm having a devil of a time trying to remove it so I can insert the new stuff. Any suggestions?

A few years back I had to replace the bubble on my casement windows and ran into a similar problem. What I used was an ice pick (you could also use an awl) along with a pair of needle nose pliers to grab hold of the leg and pull it out of the channel. I replaced the weatherstripping with the 58-053 and 58-055, but you may have something different.
