cabinets do not close

Quick Learner from Chagrin Falls, Ohio
We have two pantry cabinets (about 30 years old) with your hinges that no longer close. A neighbor shared that they got replacement hinges from the manufacturer so i thought i'd reach out and see if these are warranteed by you. Thankfully all of the other cabinets are still fine. i would need a total of 8 .

Thanks for posting. We don't have an exact match for this hinge, but check out the 32-353 or maybe the 32-343. Compare these hinges with your old one and see if you think either could work for you.

Bob,
I have the same hinge.  Can you confirm whether or not that hinge is a Swisco hinge?  If not, I can try to search for the manufacturer and an exact replacement.  But, if it is a Swisco hinge and it is no longer available, I can try one of the replacements indicated in your response above.  It would seem that the size of the inset hole would be the deciding factor.  Can you tell me if the hole size is a standard size?  Or, what size the recommended hinges require?  Thank you.

Hey there! To be clear, we actually don't make hinges for cabinets, we just provide replacement hinges for hardware already on the market. The trouble with a lot of these older hinges is that many are no longer made, and so replacements are indeed seldom exact. The 32-353, for instance, looks very similar in function to your old hinge--but I can't promise you wouldn't need to make modification or drill a new hole to install it. Unfortunately that's just how it goes with this hingeware. If you can find the original that would certainly be ideal. Let us know if you have further questions.
