Good morning! Thanks for contacting us. Take a look at our S385-33 channel balance and compare it to your own hardware. Does this look like a match? How do all the dimensions match up? Is the bottom shoe the same? I also recommend our 3240 option. Does its weight rating work well with your sash weight?

Thanks for the response...just to make sure, you suggested the 3240 option...and on your sheet that indicates 23-28 pound sash weight. Would that refer to the actual weight of the window if i pull it totally and weigh on a scale? sorry for the ignorance...would like to get it right the first time save all of us the hassle of returns etc. When i measured the Channel balance with tape...it is 33 in long; 5/8" deep measuring across the spring channel; and 1/2" measuring the side wall height. Once i know to WEIGH the actual window...then i will order a pair or 2. Thanks for the help

Yes! You will need to know the full weight of the sash. As you said, the best way to do this is to remove it from the window and place it on a scale.
Keep in mind that the weight ratings for our balance options are based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
