Question

will the s161 balance be a good replacement for this caldwell coil balance? i located that part number in my subject lin from another online sell windows hardware direct, however they are out of stock.

Thanks for posting. To my eye, this looks more like the 15-087 Pivot Shoe, which is used with the Series 180 Coil Balance springs, sold separately--it's the cam that gives it away. That said, we always advise removing the old shoe and comparing dimensions to ensure they match what is shown below. Take a look and let me know if you have any questions.
