can not find any markings or name of window

Question

this window is a single pane and single hung window. Opens from window sill upwards. Believe it was made in 1972 approximately by a window company from Florida which no longer exists. Need tension rods on sides. Window will not open and do not want to pry without new rods. The window measures approximately 41W by 68 1/4 L. I have 2 other similar windows but they are much smaller. Aproximately 29W by 68L. Please help so we can use our windows without replacing.

We'd be happy to help but we would need to see your balance removed from the window to narrow down your replacement options. It looks like you might have spiral balances.

If so, the length and diameter of the balance tube, colored tip at the base of the tube, and a photo of the end of the spiral will tell us what you need. Thank you!
