I am looking for a way to hold a wood insect screen in place in a wood casement window. The system normally used with these screens is plunger pin and cup. I would like to avoid drilling holes in the window for the cup fand wonder if this tension spring could be attached to two corners of the wood screen to hold the screen in place using simple pressure.

Good Afternoon,

We currently do not carry any screw-on springs, as they are no longer available. I'm concerned the 20-001 Wood Window Tension Spring may be a little too strong for wooden screens.
