Can this be replaced with a acme 23-026?

You are correct in choosing our 23-026 bottom door guide. To remove the old one from the track, use a putty knife and press against the bottom nylon locking fork while raising the door from the track. To remove the bracket from the door, lay door down and with needle nose pliers, work out the locking fork out of the door frame. If you still have questions don't hesitate to reach back out to us.
