Problem Installing 82-315

A quick learner from Florida says:
I bought the Swisco 82-035 handle set, and the 82-315, key lock and housing.
I watched the Swisco video on installing the key lock and housing, which happened to use the same handle set.
However, the video showed a below-center offset for the lock tumbler, whereas my handle set uses a centered tumbler hole. How convenient.
The centered lever doesn't have a half-scored knockout hole like the below-center knockouts in your video.
How do I get my hole in the right place?

Thanks for posting. This is a bit tricky when installing the 82-315 in the center of an outside pull, since many of them (e.g. the 82-035 outside pull, or the 82-044) don't have the smaller punchout holes for fasteners positioned to mount the key lock flush center. In that case, you'll have to do your best to drill the holes yourself the best you can. It probably will be a little tricky but it can be done. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for that information. I did pretty much exactly as you suggested. The center hole is fairly easy but the little screw holes I thought it would be hard to line up. Are use Q-tips and put a little fresh black paint on a Q-tip and it marked perfectly. Needed to be made bigger to recess the door handle. Anyway the job has been done thank you for your help
