the balance I have has x 22 stamped on it--the shoe looks the same--will the 750 series work on the caradco dbl hung

I'm sorry, but I can't really say what you have. The stamp you gave us is not enough information to go by. When you looked over the pictures and measurements we have for the Series 750 how well did it match up? Did it differ in any way? If you aren't sure, you can send us pictures of your hardware to identify.
