carefree window replacement parts.

I found a post on your web site about replacement spiral balances for tilt windows that would work on Carefree windows. I ordered two 900-27 spiral balances. My bad they should have been 900-26. the end that fits in the pivot lock shoe does not fit in the shoe in my windows the two nubs as I call them are an 1/8 inch tow far apart to let the balance hook into the shoe. do you have an solution for this.

Hmmm... I have come across a similar issue before. What I did was use a pair of pliers to carefully and slightly bend the prong up. That allowed the tilt pins to lock under. Would this work for you?

Care Free window company uses a variety of pivot shoes. Yours looks to be our 15-045, which is 1" wide by 3/8" thick with a 1/4" X 3/16" cam opening for the pivot bar. You'll have to remove your hardware from the window to compare our dimensions to yours and see if this matches what you need.
