casement lock screw holes

Question

The screw holes of the casement lock I received (38-139) does not have threads in which to screw my existing screws into.

This tip was given on the page for 38-139:

"This part does not include new fasteners. Do not throw away your original screws, you will need them for the installation of your new part."

Should I return the part?

The 38-139 typically uses #8 sheet metal screws, though you may also need a pan or flat head screw. I also don't know what length you need. Fist, can you confirm what screws you have now? Also, can you confirm that the 38-139 is the replacement you need?
