casement lock wrong size

Question

I tried Swisco's 38-036 reverse mount casement lock but it doesn't fit. It's to big to fit into the space. Any ideas?

I've been able to use our 38-036 lock in to replace plastic locks similar to yours in the past. I think this is our best option. Take a look at 38-036S lock shim and see if this could help you with the installation.
