casement locking mechanism

Home Owner from minnesota

the windows were installed in 2005-2006 time frame.  the manufacturer is unknown, there are no window stickers, and none of the parts appear to have any identifying marks or part numbers.  They are mulled units with a fixed pane on the right and movable pane on the left (viewed from inside)

the lock is on the right sash viewed from inside, with hinges on left as viewed from insided.

the attached photos are from a working window.  we are in the early stages of a winter storm and i did not want to open the broken one again for fear i'd not be able to get it locked a second time

We may have a replacement lock that can work for you, but it's unfortunately not possible to identify it while it's still installed. This service requires clear, unobstructed photos of all parts you're looking to replace. If you're worried about not being able to put it back in, then do you have an identical window in the house that you can use as a reference instead?

If not, you'll need to wait for a more opportune time to tackle this project.
