casement window crank

Home Owner from Belfield, North Dakota
This is the crank for a casement window. The serial number on the crank is 60-C-7041-62. The splines on the inside of the crank are stripped but the splines on the corresponding part are good. The window will open when the splined part on the gear box are turned by hand.

Greetings -

We're happy to help find a replacement crank handle for your window. It's a little tricky to tell the size of the hole from your photo but if it's 11/32", I think our 39-114L crank will do. Let us know what you think!

We are going to give that crank a try! Thanks so much for this wonderful service.

We will let you know whether or not the handle fits or if we need further advice to try another one.

The crank did not fit; the aperture was too small. I would like to send it back, along with our crank which has stripped gears, in the hope that you will know exactly what crank to send. If you do not have a crank that fits, we would like a new crank assembly to install in that window. It's July and it's getting hot! ! ! ! !

I sent photos before. I can resend, but I think if I just send the crank it will be most satisfactory.

Thanks for submitting your sample! We received your sample and have identified it as an old Andersen casement window handle. They replaced it with our 39-286. The outside base is wider than yours, but the inside threads match. I think it will still work.

I will order it right now!!!!!
