casement window crank handle replacement

Home Owner from Hasbrouck Heights, NJ

hello,

i am looking to replace the crank handle on one of my casement windows. the crank had a white plastic "washer" that broke and it came out with the mechanism attached.

i removed the screw and took out the mechanism. i attach photos.

i do not know the name of the window manufacturer, windows were in the house when i moved in 30 years ago. no name, or identifying features on windows or crank handle. a sales person at Lowe's suggested they are Ponzi brand windows? not sure. can you help me replace it.

thank you.

Hello,

It looks like the spline that attaches the handle to the operator is broken. Unforutnately, that means the entire assembly will need to be replaced since that part can't be repaired or replaced. If you could show us a photo of your operator with the window open so the arms that move the sash are fully visible, we'll be able to narrow down your replacement options. Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to us. Your photo resembles the 39-032 operator. We also offer the 39-031 opposite-handed version. Compare the dimensions below to yours, paying close attention to the length of the shorter link arm, to confirm its a match. We also offer the 39-107FK handle and cover kit used with both assemblies.
