casement window hinge replacement

Question

I have an Eagle right hand operator casement window that I need to replace the hinge. The parts are labeled as Entry Guard Truth parts.

Will the 36-004-10 replace the ones that I currently have? The window and sill brackets are 10" long, but they appear to be flat, without a channel, but they do have a black rectangular washer at the hinge joint that the window pivots on at the end of the short connector bar that pins to the window and sill plates. The old connecting bar seems to be riveted to the plates and not pinned, but it does rotate so the bar can swing.
I want to make sure that I get the right one.

Thank you for reaching out to us. From your description, it sounds like the 36-004-10 could be a match but we can't be 100% certain without seeing a few photos of the hinge. Would that be possible?

This hinge set is indeed non-handed. It can work on either a left or right hand side window interchangeably, and comes with a top and bottom hinge assembly. When replacing your originals, make sure to replace both that top and bottom at the same time to ensure a symmetrical operation.
