Hi. I need to do some casement window repair. Before judging a need for new hardware I just want to first get the sash disconnected. Being new to this I've uploaded a couple images. There is no mfg identifier on the window glass, the spacer channel between the glass, nor anywhere else. There are id#s on the operator hardware (see pictures). The operator is a single split arm 20810, while what I call the hinge arm is stamped 31272.
To remove the operator, is the little slot I see in the arm what would release what looks like a barely visible retainer clip? As for the hinge arm, would that just pop off of the black, plastic piece or would I remove both screws to take the black piece off still attached to the hinge arm?
Thanks!
Mike F.

Hi Mike,
I think you may be right and someone installed the detach clip under the arm instead of on top for some reason. You should still be able to follow our video for removal that we've related fro you. It might be a bit more awkward since you'll need to reach under the arm to access the detach clip. We've also related our hinge removal video to assist you, as well as related some replacement options for you to compare to your original hardware. Thanks for posting!
