casement windows

Question

my casement window operators are failing. This is the one that the window opens clockwise (or maybe to the right) and the other side that opens counterclockwise (or to the left) is in such bad shape that the window can't safely be opened without a person on the outside to catch it. Can you help me identify this part, or do you need more information?

Thanks for helping me. I tried calling window repair/restoration people, but fixing my window isn't a big enough job for them. Fair enough.... and they sent me to you!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Looks like your window uses the old Roto brand parts. We still sell a few components from this set but Roto actually discontinued a lot of these parts. Much of what you show here is unavailable to us.

To start, the only genuine Roto parts we sell that would be of use to you are the operator bases: see our 39-091 and 39-092. The problem is the link arms are totally obsolete and we have no alternative, so it is imperative that you reuse your originals. These aren't available anywhere, to my knowledge.

The hinge is also obsolete, but you can use our 36-048 as an alternative as long as you replace the top and bottom at the same time. You don't want to mix old and new hinge assemblies.
