casement and awning window operators

Contractor from Coppell, TX

Hello,

I am trying to determine what parts I need to repair the operation of these casement and awning combo windows. These windows are approx 36 x 84. The upper sash of the window (36 x 60) is a casement and the bottom sash (36 x 24) is an awning.

7 casements and 3 awnings are having operation issues.

I am hopeful these photos will help determine what parts are needed.

I am understanding that I may need to visit this client's home again if I need additional information.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Hi, Kurt.

From what I can see, your operator's arm looks similar to our 39-348 awning operator which uses the 36-078 shoe stud (sold separately). Look over our specifications and compare them with yours to see if this matches what you need.

Hello and that info was very helpful for the awning portion of these windows. I have since returned to the home and took photos of the upper sash hardware, which is casement. It appears that the lever with the teeth on the end are not engaging with the gear attached to the crank handle. The hardware in the photo has parts that are rusted as well. I did discover these are old WeatherShield windows. If you can assist me with the operation hardware (Truth 30905 stamp) of the casement sashes that would be great! Attached are more photos. Thank you, Kurt

Certainly! This casement operator reminds me of our 39-171 and 39-172. For the hinge, see our 36-048. Compare our dimensions with yours to confirm these match what you need.
