channel balance

Question

Hello Paul,

I have some B.S.I 27 C balances, and have been looking at the posts. I believe the the S380-28 looks close but thought I would send some pics and get your opinion, if you would. I have a duplex I am working on and they need replacing.

Hi Steve!

We can certainly supply these balances for you but none of our stock balances are going to do the job. You'll need a specially made balance with our 19-037 top and 15-005 bottom attachment, assuming your bottom attachment has the same 1" depth of the S380-28 bottom attachment. Also, your 27C stamp would use our 2730 spring strength option to support a sash weight between 13 and 19 pounds.
