channel balance 251 vs 290

Hello, not sure how to measure the shoe on these balances, the picture on the website is unclear. Do I measure from the wings or in the valley? See pic to see one measurement is 1-3/16" and the other was 1". Thanks for you help!

Hello there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. Did you mean the Series 351 and Series 390 channel balances? If so, you'll want to measure from "toe to heel" as shown below. I hope this helps!

Thanks. Mine is 1 3/16" I guess it is the 390. Or is it maybe something else?

We have the 15-003 shoe which is 1-3/16" deep. We don't have a stock balance that uses this shoe but we can still help via custom order. Just note that custom orders are nonrefundable. If you're interested, let me know the stamp printed on the metal channel and the metal channel length and we can go from there.
