channel balance

Question

I need to replace the balancers on my single hung, metal frame window. The channel measures 27" long, not including the plastic ends. the following numbers are stamped on the channel - 26 4  f1. Could you please help me choose the proper channel balancers.S380 and S385 both seem to have the same plastic ends as my old balancers.

Thanks for contacting us. I see that you mentioned both our Series 380 and Series 385 channel balances as looking almost the same. You are right, they look almost identical especially in the bottom balance shoe area. However, there is a subtle difference between the two of them; their measurements. Please visit the diagram below for the difference between the two shoes.
