replacing channel balance stamped on side "28 4 GO CALDWELL" 1/2" width.
("GO" may be "60"). which of your S390-29 options should I use - 2860? Thanks for your advice . . .

If you're certain the S390-29 is what you need and if your stamp is "28 4", then you will need a spring strength option of 2840.

You can always weigh your window sash if you want to be 100% certain. There's a chart on the S390's product page that shows you which option you'll need based on the weight of your sash.
